The Town of Barnesville adheres to financial reporting requirements for municipalities in the state of Maryland. The fiscal year runs from July 1 of each year through June 30 of the following calendar year. The Commissioners prepare a budget for the upcoming fiscal year at a public meeting in early June, after reviewing financial results for recent years. Monthly financial reports are presented at each town meeting. Audits are completed by October 31 for the prior fiscal year. Below are links to the most recent Auditors Report and monthly reports for the period since the last audited results.
